This policy explains what mepcobillcheckonline.com does with information when you use the site. The short version: the number you type into our bill checker never reaches us, and we never ask for your CNIC.
The bill checker
Our checker runs inside your own browser. When you press the check button, your browser opens the official PITC bill page in a new tab. The reference number or Customer ID you type is not sent to our server. We do not see it, record it or store it, and it is not placed in our web addresses, cookies, browser storage or analytics.
Once the PITC page opens, you are on PITC’s website, not ours. PITC’s own terms and privacy rules apply there, and we have no control over that page.
Details we never ask for
We never ask for your CNIC, phone number, bank, card or mobile wallet details, anywhere on this site. If a page or message that claims to be from us asks for them, it is not from us.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message. The form sends them to our team’s mailbox by email; they are not saved in the website’s database. We use what you send only to answer your message, which includes checking and correcting a page you report. We do not sell it, share it for marketing or add you to any mailing list. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check, to stop automated messages.
We keep messages only as long as we need them to answer you.
Visit statistics
We do not use any visit-counting or analytics service at the moment. If we add one, we will update this policy before it starts.
Technical logs
When you visit, our web server records technical details of each request: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the page you came from. These server logs are kept for about 5 months. Cloudflare, the service that delivers and protects this site, also processes your IP address. If one of our security rules blocks or challenges a request, that request is logged with the IP address, browser type and page for up to 31 days, and our server firewall keeps blocked addresses for about 2 weeks. We use these records only to keep the site secure and working.
Advertising
There are no adverts on this site at the moment. If we add any, we will update this policy before they appear.
