This page explains where the facts on mepcobillcheckonline.com come from, how we keep them current, and how you can tell us when something is wrong.
Our rule: official sources only
Every fact on this site about a bill, a form, a contact route or an official service comes from an official MEPCO, PITC or NEPRA source, or from the labels printed on a real MEPCO bill (we never publish its personal details). We do not copy facts from other bill-check websites, forums or social media posts. If no official page confirms something, we do not state it. Where that leaves a gap, we say so plainly instead of filling it with a guess.

Each guide also has its own “Official sources” box listing the pages it relies on.
What “Last checked” means
A guide shows “Last checked” with a date only when we have actually read its official sources on that date. We never move the date forward automatically, and we do not change it just because we edited the wording.
We re-read the official sources every month. If a form, a number or a rule has changed, we correct the page and then update its “Last checked” date. If nothing has changed, the date moves only after the check is complete.
When official pages change or disagree
Official services can change their pages without notice. If what you see on an official MEPCO or PITC page is different from our guide, follow the official page and please let us know. When two official pages seem to say different things, we describe what each one says, name both sources and avoid picking one without evidence.
Report a mistake
If you spot an error, an out-of-date detail or a broken link, send it through our contact form. Please include the page address and what looks wrong. Do not include your CNIC, reference number or any payment details. We check every report against the official source, correct the page if needed, and update its check date.
